horror movie soundtracks sometimes include infrasound, which is sound below the range of human hearing. even though we can't hear it we can still feel it and infrasound has been shown to induce anxiety, heart palpitations, and shivering.

to let go

Letting go is such a difficult thing to understand. You can't try to let go. Trying to let go is like trying not to think about something. You're just going to think about it even more. I think letting go is less of an ending of one thing and more of an acceptance of everything. It's okay that this is the way it is right now. There's no other way it's supposed to be.

when you get a sunburn, it's not your skin cells being damaged by the sun and dying, it's your skin cells' DNA being damaged by the sun and them killing themselves so they don't turn into cancer
